In order to support the product launch, the client needed a better understanding of its product’s market in China, including current global treatment options, treatment methods in China, and key competitors. The challenge was in conducting pharmaceutical research in Chinese and then presenting this technical information in English.
Our Approach
Our pharmaceutical experts conducted a three phase research project to provide the client with their desired information on the Chinese pharmaceutical market. In the first stage, we compiled epidemiological data and current global treatment options for the product’s targeted diseases, including both Western and traditional Chinese medicine. We then conducted in-depth research into the diseases’ treatment methods in China, using both qualitative and quantitative data to analyze past, current, and future trends in treatment. Following the research process, our findings were translated, combined, and checked for consistency by our native English and Chinese speaking researchers, allowing our pharmaceutical experts to provide their insights to the client.
