Investment Brochure Creation
The Challenge
A Chinese city government wanted to market the offshoring capabilities of the city’s industrial parks to investors, and needed to create new promotional materials in Chinese and English to attract both domestic and international investment. The challenge of this project was not only finding a way to effectively convey and package the client’s marketing message, but also to translate and adapt this message for an English speaking audience.
Our Approach
SmithStreetSolutions utilized our marketing, translation, and design capabilities to provide the city government with an effective and professionally designed brochure. Our marketing professionals first met with the client in order to fully understand their intended message. After conducting additional background research on the target park, they created new written materials in Chinese and worked with the client to finalize the content. Using our translation team of both Chinese and English native speakers, we translated and re-wrote the brochure to appeal to an English speaking audience. Our design team worked with the client to design and finalize the brochure design, and then cooperated with a printing vendor to provide the client with the finished product.
Our Solution
We provided the client with 3,000 copies of the 28 page bilingual color brochure. The brochures were distributed at a major conference the client held to introduce the city’s industrial parks to investors.
