What exactly is KPO?
When you contract out knowledge-intensive business functions, or processes that demand advanced research and analytical, technical and decision-making skills, to a third party over a substantial period of time it's known as Knowledge Process Outsourcing or KPO.

KPO is the high-end sub-category of BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), which generally refers to contracting out a specific business task to a service provider outside the company. The central theme of KPO is to create value for the client by providing business expertise rather than process expertise. Hence, KPO entails BPO or Outsourcing Industry to a higher level by carrying out processes that demand advanced analytical and technical skills as well as decisive judgment.
