Nicola Ma is a Operations Manager at SmithStreetSolutions. Previously, she was an Assistant Branch Manager in a medical company in the UK. Nicola also has experience in doing consultancy projects in the UK. Her experience in China includes translation, interpretation and teaching. Nicola graduated from Lancaster University with a M.Sc. in Management. Nicola is enthusiastic about watching sports, especially F1 racing, tennis, football, and basketball.

Nathan Huie is Director of Investment Banking Services at SmithStreetSolutions. Prior to joining us, he worked in the principal real estate at UBS Investment Bank in New York, where he focused on real estate debt and equity investments. At UBS, Nathan also executed leveraged financial transactions totaling $10+ billion in financial services, telecom, tech, energy, and media. Nathan holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Nathan enjoys traveling, scuba diving, cycling, and UCLA college basketball.

Eric Wang is a Production Manager at SmithStreetSolutions. Eric built his graphics experience at A.T. Kearney as a Graphics Designer. Previously, Eric was a Counselor at the Shanghai Overseas Affairs Center where he promoted Australian and European universities to prospective students. Eric received a B.A. in Finance from Shanghai Jiaotong University. Eric is an avid music fan, pool player, and stamp collector.

Sudeshna Dey is a Project Manager at SmithStreetSolutions. She has extensive marketing and sales experience in a Pharmaceutical Company in India where she served as a Sales Manager and a Product Manager ( marketing). She also has experience at a financial advisory firm in Shanghai. Sudeshna holds a B.Sc. degree from the University of Calcutta, and received an M.B.A. from Utkal University in India. A former athlete in school, Sudeshna still enjoys playing and watching sports, especially cricket, tennis, and badminton.

Michael Yeo is the Research Manager at SmithStreetSolutions. Michael received his B.A. in Accounting & Economics from the University of Reading. Previously, Michael was an External Auditor at Ernst and Young and an Internal Auditor at Shell, where he helped implement their SOX plan throughout the whole of Asia. Apart from his native English, Michael also speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien. In his spare time Michael enjoys travel, reading Chinese literature and is a fanatic Blackjack player.

Tiphaine Camus is an Associate at SmithStreetSolutions. She joined from Shanghai University of Finances and Economics where she was teaching French and English. Tiphaine speaks English, French, Mandarin, and Spanish, and she holds a B.A. in Chinese studies from Bordeaux University. Tiphaine is enthusiastic about learning new things especially new languages, reading, and traveling.

Moritz Wang is a Research Associate at SmithStreetSolutions. Moritz received an M.A. in the History Of Economic Thoughts from Fudan University and worked as a manager of the school cafeteria at Fudan. He wrote his masters thesis on the economic philosophy of Liang Qichao, one of China’s great modernizers. Moritz likes reading and listening to classical music. Also, he is an enthusiastic fan of the English national football team.

Julie Van Hemelryck is a Research Associate at SmithStreetSolutions. She previously worked as a consultant for EMG China where she held media relations responsibilities. Prior to that, she worked as an intern in the European Parliament. Julie speaks English, Dutch, French, and German, and she holds an M.A. in Cross Cultural Communication and International Management from Newcastle University. Julie is enthusiastic about meeting new people, traveling, and reading.

Deepa Rana is an Associate at SmithStreetSolutions. She joined from HSBC Electronic Data Processing India (HDPI) in Hyderabad where she was a Process Specialist and Trainer. Her experience covers all aspects of offshore operations, with an emphasis on training. Deepa speaks English, Mandarin, Hindi, and Telugu, and she holds a B.Com and an MBA from Osmania University. Deepa is enthusiastic about learning new things, cooking, and playing both indoor and outdoor games.

Cynthia Zhang is a Production Associate at SmithStreetSolutions. Previously, Cynthia taught Chinese as a foreign language at the International Culture Exchange College, SHISU. Cynthia received a B.A. in Chinese Education from Shandong Normal University and an M.A. in Chinese Modern Literature from Shanghai International Studies University. Cynthia enjoys reading novels and watching movies in her spare time. Also, swimming and badminton are her favorite sports.
