JUCCCE (Joint US-China Cooperation on Clean Energy) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, dedicated to significantly increasing energy efficiency and the use of clean energy in China within 10 years, while building trust and cooperation between China and the United States. Its most recent goal is to reduce China's carbon footprint by launching two important initiatives:
- Program to replace traditional lightbulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs across Shanghai
- Training of city mayors nationwide on how to reduce their cities' environmental impact.
