Niels Sorensen Joins SmithStreet as Board Advisor
October 15, 2009, Shanghai - SmithStreetSolutions announced today that Niels Sorensen, Chairman of publicly listed Swedish real estate company Allokton AB, has joined SmithStreet as a Board Advisor.
Sorensen brings considerable consulting and international executive experience to SmithStreet’s board. He has spent over 15 years in management consulting in New York, London, and Copenhagen, where he has advised major corporations such as American Express, Merrill Lynch, Wyeth, and Carlsberg on growth, market entry, and supply chain strategy. His considerable executive experience also includes working as Managing Director of Investments at CenterPlan AS with activities in Scandinavia, Germany and the UK, and as Vice President and Global Service Line Head for Supply Chain at CapGemini in New York. Sorensen holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, along with a B.Com. in Marketing and a B.Sc. in Economics from the Copenhagen School of Economics.
