Vice President of Client Delivery Recruitment
SmithStreetSolutions is a leading research and analytics outsourcing (KPO) firm with offices currently in Shanghai, New York, and Wuxi (Q3 2009). In a short time we have quickly established ourselves as pioneers in the services outsourcing industry in China. Our work is focused around four key areas:
- Market Research
- Investment Research and Analytics
- Strategic Sourcing Analytics
- Production Services (PowerPoint, Design, Translation)
In order to prepare for the next stage of our growth, we are currently looking for a Vice President of Client Delivery in order to manage and coordinate all client delivery efforts across our service centers. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in both finance and consulting, is detail-oriented, enjoys teaching, and has solid client relationship skills. This position is based in Shanghai, China. Chinese Mandarin skills are not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for clients in the fields of Equity, Buy-Side, Quantitative analysis research, and Corporate finance
- Provide support for clients in the consulting and strategy/research groups of Global 1000 companies; lead engagements involving both primary and secondary research
- Identify new business opportunities, understand the nature of the client’s needs in context and lead the research team in structuring the problem, financial modeling and formulating the appropriate solution
- Be responsible for project planning, monitoring of effort and timelines and building knowledge within the research and production teams
- Maintain outstanding client relationships, coordinate all activities with the US and China and take a lead role in the development of the company
- Lead business development activities including creation of proposals, contracts, and responding to RFPs
Requirements:
- 8+ years combined work experience in a bulge-bracket investment bank and/or strategy consulting firm
- Understanding of Equities, Equity research, Corporate finance, M&A or Quantitative analysis
- Outstanding inter-personal, communication, and written and verbal presentation skills
- Strong personal qualities including: great attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to lead and develop research team, attention to detail, and willingness to travel
- Previous experience dealing with either Outsourcing or Consulting fields is highly desirable; strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus
- Willingness to work hard
